Building housing for a changing climate and equitable access may need to look a little (or a lot) different in the future. Doing the same thing that has always been done will not solve housing challenges. While the housing conversation has been going on for decades, the Northwoods Sustainable Housing Project is hosting a unique community gathering of a diverse perspectives to creatively re-think the future of housing in this special place. 

 

Come to exchange knowledge about sustainable, healthy, affordable and resilient housing. This is a unique and broad gathering and idea sharing open to traditional and alternative (timberframe, straw bale, hempcrete, cordwood,  etc) builders and tradespeople, residents who live in homes with sustainable features (passive, solar collection, geothermal, buildings with natural, sustainable, and/or efficient materials, collective housing, etc), nonprofits, public health, business and community development, housing organizations, passionate community members and leaders.
