End-of-life issues affect everyone, regardless of age, health, or background. This series is meant for:
* Individuals facing a terminal illness or nearing the end of their natural life.
* Family members and friends of those who are dying, seeking to support and understand their loved ones.
* Caregivers and healthcare professionals entrusted with providing compassionate, dignified care.
* Anyone wishing to prepare thoughtfully for their own future, knowing that clarity and planning can bring peace of mind.
End-of-life planning involves making decisions about how one wishes to be remembered and celebrated. This module explores various burial options and end-of-life celebrations, providing insights into how individuals can honor their lives and create meaningful experiences for their loved ones.
Burial Options include: traditional burial; cremation; green burial; alkaline hydrolysis, burial at sea, and memorial space flights. In comparison, end-of-life celebrations include funeral service, memorial service, celebration of life, and a home funeral.
You’re welcome to bring your own brown bag lunch. We’ll provide water and tea.
