What do you want in life? What goals drive you forward? While our individual paths may be different, there is great power in finding and working toward common goals, especially with those from different backgrounds or perspectives. In this session, we’ll explore strategies for bridging differences and identifying shared aspirations that can bring people together.
You may be wondering, “What’s the difference between goals and values?” That’s an important question. To answer it, we’ll take a step back and consider the fundamental similarities we all share, our universal desire for happiness and freedom from suffering. By recognizing how deeply our lives are interconnected, we can cultivate a greater appreciation for others and a stronger sense of collective purpose. Through a guided “needs inventory,” participants will reflect on their own goals while also considering the needs and aspirations of those around them, fostering deeper understanding and connection.
