MSHA 8 Refresher

This refresher course meets requirements set forth by the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s (MSHA) training regulations Part 48 – surface and Part 46 Mine Safety and Health MSHA training for non-metal . This is a eight hour course

Participants should verify with their employer that Customized Training Solutions MSHA training plan is approved for the district they work in.

Required: MSHA Registration Form  along with your photo ID  must be emailed cts@minnesotanorth.edu in order to receive a 5000-23 certificate.

Zooming from CCHE:

• CCHE will provide laptop to meet requirements of students
• CCHE will have all technology set up to assist students in attending/participating in this class
• The presentation will be shown on our large Zoom TV's
• Full Participation is required (no work is to be conducted during class attendance)
• Participant must be visible at all times and in an upright position.
• Instructor has the right to remove any participant from class.

Zooming from Home:

• All participants need to be logged in at 7:30 am and class starts at 7:45 am
• A laptop/desktop with camera is required.   
• Must have stable/dependable internet connection
• Full Participation is required (no work is to be conducted during class attendance)
• Participant must be visible at all times and in an upright position.
• Participants will need to find a quiet environment free from distraction
• There is a limit of 2 participants per screen. 
• Instructor has the right to remove any participant from class.
