Widespread biases and misconceptions about aging abound – and they can affect our own expectations about growing older. Our attitudes about aging have an impact on our quality of life, health, and even longevity.
Special guest presenter Brenda Shafer-Pellinen from the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging will discuss how ageism can influence us, and how we can contribute toward a more positive narrative about aging.
A light lunch will be provided for the first 20 guests who sign up for the in-person class. If you have any food sensitivities or preferences please bring your own brown bag lunch.
