MacBeth: A Shakespeare Discussion
January 9 | 3-4pm | Zoom

Facilitator & Partner: Tom McCann

Imagine getting a prediction that you will become the supreme ruler of your land only to discover that you'll need to perform desperate acts of treachery to ascend and keep your royal role!  This is the crux of Shakespeare's play, MacBeth, first performed in 1606.

Cook County Higher Education will host an open community conversation on Shakespeare's classic tragedy, MacBeth. Characters and plot lines will be discussed along with opportunities for questions and answers to share with the group.

If you've not had a chance to attend the play this will be a great introduction. If you are versed in MacBeth, please join the discussions to offer your insights and knowledge.

The Guthrie will host MacBeth January 31 - March 22.
